Innovations in the Integration of Critical Thinking in the Classroom

When her university decided to bolster its general education courses with stronger critical thinking and information literacy instruction, Dr. Stephanie Dance-Barnes became the pilot professor for an innovative new program. In her recent webinar, she discussed the collaborative teaching approach she used to reinforce skills and create experiential learning outcomes. Through the use of Credo Education’s platform, she was able to establish a foundation for learning how to learn while also meeting Winston Salem State University’s renewed focus on measurable, real-time assessment throughout the curriculum.
